Nottinghamshire Police have uncovered more than 450 cannabis plants at a property in the Harlequin area of Radcliffe on Trent.
Officers found the plants being cultivated in multiple rooms within the property, following an anonymous tip-off about suspicious activities.
A man has been arrested in connection with the cannabis cultivation and has subsequently been charged and remanded in custody.
The seized plants have an estimated street value of £400,000, effectively preventing a significant amount of illegal drugs from reaching the streets of Nottinghamshire. Rushcliffe South Police said:
“Officers discovered over 450 cannabis plants growing in all rooms of the property. One male was arrested for the offence of cannabis cultivation and has been charged and remanded. He awaits his day in court. An estimated £400,000 worth of illegal drugs have been taken off Nottinghamshire’s streets.”
