Countryside has confirmed their agreement with emh group to create a 100% affordable housing development in Radcliffe on Trent.
The scheme will introduce 55 new dwellings at Shelford Road, to the north of the village.
30 of the homes will be available for shared ownership and emh group will offer affordable rent on the remain 25 properties.
As part of the agreement, the development will contribute over £500,000 in local investment to Radcliffe, including £390,000 towards local schools and £58,000 towards highway improvements.
£65,000 of the Section 106 investment budget will be allocated towards sports and leisure facilities and there will be a £50,000 contribution towards healthcare.

“We are particularly proud of the range of property types we have been able to deliver, going some way to addressing the range of demands of local people.”
Rushcliffe Borough Council agreed to the construction of this Countryside development on greenbelt near to a soon-to-be-completed William Davis 400-home estate in the area in February.
Speaking to Nottingham Post in December 2020, newly elected councillor Roger Upton reacted to news of the new development plan, saying: “We need more houses: both to keep youngsters within the village and for older people to downsize and free up homes.”
