Today all pubs and restaurants in Radcliffe on Trent are able to open for indoor use.
UK Government Covid-19 lockdown restriction easing for England mean that as of midnight 17th May all hospitality businesses can open to customers.
It means that local restaurants such as Crystal Lillies, Piano and The Atrium will allow dine-in services.
The villages pubs, including Royal Oak, The Radcliffe and The Chestnut will all be open without the previous 10pm cerfew and substantial meal restrictions.
While many businesses will open in line with restrictions changes, Ashmores shared via Facebook that they will remain closed until 10th June.
Local neighbourhood officers will be out in force across the borough to support hospitality reopening across Rushcliffe.
Rushcliffe Borough Council’s Cabinet Portfolio Holder for Neighbourhoods Cllr Rob Inglis spoke exclusively to West Bridgford Wire, saying: “It’s been such a tough time for businesses over the last year and whilst the easing of restrictions last month has helped many, we want to continue our support wherever possible.
“The latest lifting of restrictions should help boost our local cafes, restaurants and bars even further, but we are reminding business owners of their responsibilities.
“This is to ensure they are fully aware of their obligations to operate securely, particularly table service and for all customers to embrace and abide by these guidelines that still need to be in place.
“Our Environmental Health and Licensing teams are ready with assistance and advice every step of the way.”
