The Manvers pub on Main Road has reopened in Radcliffe on Trent.
The opening follows a £390,000 refurbishment by Heineken-owned Star Pubs over the past few months.
The historic establishment dates back to the the 1800s and has been closed since late in 2019.
Radcliffe’s own Shirleyann Mould has taken over as the licensee.

Shirleyann said: “Our aim is to cater for everyone, and The Manvers Arms has all the bells and whistles and ticks all the boxes. There’s a large bar area, a comfy lounge for dining, a gorgeous garden and a separate games room with a brand new pool table, darts and screens, plus we’ve got everything from pizzas and burgers to cocktails and cask ales on the menu. Anyone who has seen the inside can’t believe the transformation – it’s absolutely beautiful. The attention to detail is amazing; there are even phone chargers for customers to use. I’ve been lucky to recruit a great team – many of whom are local, so there are plenty of familiar faces to welcome people. There’s lot of excitement in the village. It feels fantastic to be opening the doors and showing residents their new-look pub.”
Shirleyann has devised a number of regular events to reintroduce the pub to the local community including bingo, family fun days and sports screenings.
Christmas plans are also underway with a festive menu, breakfast with Santa and Christmas film screenings alongside the Grinch and Santa’s elves.

Star Pubs area manager Dan Littlewood added: “We’d like to thank Radcliffe for their patience, and we hope they feel it’s worth the wait. We’ve given The Manvers Arms the works, and there’ll be lots of reasons to visit and something for everyone. Shirleyann’s plans are really exciting and just what’s needed to help The Manvers Arms thrive again.”
