Bingham and Radcliffe on Trent’s Rotary Club has announced it is to close at the end of June.
The group made the official announcement through its website, declaring its closure after nearly five decades of service.
The group brought together locals from Bingham, Radcliffe, Cotgrave, East Bridgford and the surrounding villages east of Nottingham to help support a number of causes.
The statement reads:
“Unfortunately, after 47 years of service to the communities of Bingham, Racliffe on Trent and the surrounding villages, our Club will be closing on 30th June 2022.
We are no longer able to accept requests for financial assistance, as our funds have been allocated and we shall not be doing any further fundraising.
We should like to thank everybody who has supported us over the last (almost) five decades.”
Bingham and Radcliffe on Trent’s Rotary Club is arranged events, meetings and competitions over the years to support local and international causes such as Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance and End Polio Now.
