The Radcliffe on Trent Drama Group’s Outdoor Entertainment Evenings scheduled to take place later this week have been cancelled.

The amateur dramatics group have cited restrictions related to the Covid-19 pandemic for the cancellation.
The event planned to hold “sketches, monologues and duologues all designed to lift your spirits” including a performance from Buoyed up duo Katharine Buttfield and John Kellow.

The team shared the news via the Facebook page, saying:
“CANCELLED!
Outdoor Entertainment Evenings (Wed 7th – Fri 9th July 2021)
“We did everything to try ensure that you would have a safe evening, putting the show on in wide open space on the lawns of the Royal British Legion and our audience socially distanced. But, sadly, the Covid virus has beaten us and we have had to cancel.
Thank you to all our audience members who purchased tickets and we will of course refund your ticket money. Please just give us a few days to work out the logistics.
“As you can imagine we are so sorry to have to do this but we felt it would be irresponsible to continue and risk everyone’s health. We’ll hopefully see you later in the year.”
All ticket holders will be refunded.
