Nottinghamshire Police are seeking a man known to have paid with fake notes to a business in Radcliffe on Trent.
The man is said to have used counterfeit Scottish notes on Monday 15 April.
A CCTV image from the Radcliffe on Trent branch of Post Office has been released to assist police with their inquiries.
PC Nadiene Clark, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “We would like to speak to the person pictured in this image and – after making numerous other inquiries – are now seeking the public’s help in tracking him down. If you know who he is please call 101 quoting incident 24000268060.”
