Radcliffe’s Walkers Yard and Health Centre car parks have been given Park Mark status.
This symbol reinforces the locations safe spots for locals and visitors to park in the village.
Park Mark’s Safer Parking Scheme award highlights car parks that deter or reduce the fear of crime.
Rigorous risk assessments are conducted by the Police and British Parking Association to verify sites worthy of the status.
The Rushcliffe Borough Council owned car parks have received the prestigious accreditation alongside a number of other sites in the borough.

The Radcliffe on Trent Health Centre car park’s new Park Mark
They now join Ruddington’s Country park, West Bridgford’s Rushcliffe Arena and Bingham’s Needham Street car parks that have previously been recognised for this award.
Walkers Yard and Radcliffe on Trent Health Centre are now among 5,000 other sites across the UK displaying a Park Mark symbol.
In June, the Walkers Yard and the Health Centre car parks both introduced electric charging points.
