A new bench has been installed on the grounds of The Grange to memorialise Radcliffe on Trent’s response to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The rainbow-embellished bench reads:
To Radcliffe on Trent
You cared, showed kindness, were generous, gave your time, used your skills
You made a difference – Thank you
The installation is one of a number of new seating facilities scheduled for the village this year. Additional permanent benches are expected to be placed on Main Road in the coming weeks.
The 2020 commemorative bench can be found at the far north of the Grange field, beside the Vicarage Lane entrance.
