Rushcliffe Borough Council will host a free bike registration session at Radcliffe on Trent Skate Park on Saturday 21st May.
Local cyclists will be given the chance to place their bikes on the BikeRegister national registration database between 10am and 12pm.
Each bike will be given a visible label to deter potential thieves.
A limited number of D locks will also be offered in exchange for weaker locks.
The BikeRegister team also have a small supply of alarmed shed locks for local residents.
The Skate Park, part of Wharf Lane Recreation Ground, can be found on Wharf Lane at NG12 2AP.
