A set of double yellow lines added off Shelford Road next to the train station have been painted in error.
A council representative has confirmed Network Rail made an error when extending the double yellow lines.
Anne McLeod, Chair of Radcliffe on Trent Parish Council said via a Facebook comment: “The double yellow lines down by the station have been drawn in error by Network Rail. They should have extended only a short distance to enable a clear view when pulling out onto Shelford Road. East Midland Railway have been information so they can get it sorted.”
On 7 May the road markings were added, causing confusion to local residents, who often park there when travelling from Radcliffe Train Station.
The double yellow lines feature breaks along its path where workers were forced to stop as cars were parked in its path.
