South Notts Academy Plans New to Add New Teaching Block

South Nottinghamshire Academy has applied to build an additional teaching block to its site.

The plans comes as part of an aim to accommodate up to 150 additional pupils at the school.

Redhill Academy Trust submitted the application to Rushcliffe County Council to construct a detached two storey teaching block on Wednesday 14 July.

The proposed tower would sit on a site that is currently a grassed area.

The planning application states that the development would create additional jobs at the school, requiring an extra 10 employees.

Plans created by CPMG Architects show the school plans to create walls using buff with white render to match the rest of the school.

The developments will not require an alterations to the transport infrastructure or additional car park spaces around the Glebe Lane area.

The new block would be open between 8am and 4pm.
