A52 Bingham Road Junction Reopens

A52 Bingham Road Junction Reopened in Radcliffe on Trent

The junction connecting Bingham Road to the A52 has reopened in Radcliffe on Trent.

The works, which have been ongoing since October 2022, finally reopened today 29 July.

The changes were due to be completed by the end of June 2022, but this was delayed until the end of July.

The road has been widened to increase capacity and made improvements to the crossing facilities for pedestrians crossing.

The development will be welcomed to locals and A52 users that have experienced delays and redirections for months as the work took place over the course of the year.

National Highways have said that some additional work will need to take place at the junction in September,

Road users are now able to drive both ways in and out of Radcliffe from today, thanks to the changes.

Rerouted buses, which have been forced to use Cropwell Road since late last year, will resume regular service now that access has been restored to the road.
